What Are The Labradoodle Sizes?

Generally, Labradoodles are are tall, with long legs and an overall athletic appearance. There are three Labradoodle sizes, typically referred to as Standard (large), Mini (medium), and Toy (small).   Within each group, a Labradoodle’s height will vary depending on parental lineage.

Standard Size Labradoodles

Standard Size Labradoodles

This is the most common Labradoodle size. Standard size Labradoodles are taller than a Labrador with a height of 20″ – 25″ (measured from the shoulder to the paw), but typically weigh only 50 – 70 pounds.  Females tend to be smaller in terms of both weight and height than males.  Note that Labradoodles may appear to be much larger than they are due to their thick coat of fur (more on Labradoodle coat types).

Mini Size Labradoodles

The normal size for a Mini Labradoodle is 16″ – 19″ (measured from the shoulder to the paw).   Weight will range between 30 – 45 lbs.  Males and females tend to be similar in size.

Toy Size Labradoodles

The normal size for a Toy Labradoodle is 12″ -15″ (measured from the shoulder to the paw).  Weight will range between 15 – 20 pounds.  Males and females tend to be of similar size.
